rollingstone: How did you get the name Wonder?
It was given to me by Berry Gordy. They didn’t like “Steve Morris” so they changed it. Were there some alternatives?
”Little Wonder” … “Wonder Steve … ” I think we should change it to Steveland Morris [laughs]. That would put a whole different light on everything. Happy 63rd birthday Stevie Wonder!
